We introduced baby food to Ila around 4.5 months old. From the beginning, she loved it and has quickly discovered her favorite tastes and flavors! When I was pregnant, I was pretty confident that I would be making all of Ila’s food. To my surprise, that did not happen! When it came time to start her on solid food, I was not interested in the prep that went along with that process. I felt guilty for a hot second before snapping out of it! I quickly grew to be okay with that choice, especially with all of the clean and organic options that are now on the market. Not to mention the time I would save. Between breastfeeding, working from home, being a wife, and mothering an older child, it felt good not to add another thing on my piled high plate.
When I heard that Whole Foods was offering new 4-ounce Mama Bear food pouches, I was immediately excited! Grabbing a pouch to go is literally the easiest and most accessible thing for me. When headed out and about, I throw one or two in my bag and I can feed Ila directly from the pouch when she’s ready with little to no mess. Or when we’re home, I can easily squirt some food on a spoon with minimal food disasters. That is always a plus in my book!
Mama Bear’s food pouches were a hit with Ila. She loved the pumpkin, apple, peach, and buckwheat blend. I could barely feed it to her fast enough! As a mom, it’s vital that I know what ingredients are in my family’s food. What draws me to Whole Foods Market and the brands they offer is the quality. Knowing that Mama Bear pouches are made with organic ingredients makes me feel confident about feeding it to Ila. We’ve got a winner here and will be adding these new favorites up to our pouch stash.
