Today was a good day, a beautiful day, in fact, for Maryland in December. It was about sixty degrees, the sun was shining, and the crisp smell of wood and winter lingered in the air. It was the perfect day for exploring.
This winter has been extremely mild so far! I'm not complaining at all. Lately, I've been enjoying ditching my coat and doubling up on my sweaters. While I do miss layering under cute coats and such, it's been fun not being freezing.
Last year I was on the hunt for some gently loved Frye boots. Gently loved meaning: previously owned and not full price (holla!). I couldn't find any that were in my budget until recently! After stalking eBay on and off for a year, I found a pair. I was the only bidder (amen!) and got them for under $90.
The boots came pretty worn (in a good way). I loved their character and the fact that I didn't have to break them in. When shopping, I like to invest in items that will last, even if they are second hand. eBay is one of my favorite places to search for items that I love, and can't always find in stores.
If Winter keeps it up, I will be dressing like this for the duration.
